You know those mothers who are "stage mothers" (and I group the sports mom's into that group, the overly zealous soccer mom's, little league mom's, swimming mom's, dance mom's, gymnastic mom's etc.. you get the idea0 I think are trying to live vicariously through their children. And it's sad. No child should be admonished or scolded like that at the tender

That's insane. I dealt with a lot of this attitude in ballet and gymnastics, but not at the age of two. Some of(many of?) the moms get way over involved and intense. It was sad.
